I have been MIA for the last month because I was not pleased with the way the blog was going. My original reason for starting the blog was to record my daily musings, in the morning, when I was drinking my cappuccino. Hence the title. However, trying to do so made me realize that my best thoughts are not always in the morning. The ones I want to share. The ones that, hopefully, make you think too.
Here begins the make over! I thought about a lot of uses for my blog. A lot involved learning to cook, à la Julie and Julia. However, I got this feeling of {that’s been done before}. I have decided this blog can be that, and more.
I think it is important to write everyday. Or share I should say. Weather it be about the newest thing I cooked, song I heard, customer that made me angry, or just the newest idea that popped in my head, I want to share it.
In the last month, I have celebrated a 23rd birthday, moved into a new apartment and decided that this year is about changes for the better.
Last year was great, Graduation was an experience of a life time. Starting to o work at the family business was a blessing and a curse. This year I am looking for some new friends that compliment my old friends, a new love, because lets face it, sometimes even when you hope, pray, and dream that you were put into certain situations so that you could be with that one person, sometimes your wishing, hoping, praying and dreaming is in the wrong direction.
Last year I applied to one of the most prestigious art programs in the nation. I did not get in. I was applying for one of six slots. When I got rejected I had no idea why and what I would do. After graduation, I still did not know. Then I met Mr. Twitter. I thought all of it was clear, I did not get in so that he and I could meet and be together. I have not yet been proven wrong on this count. I believe everything happens for a reason. I do not yet know if this is the reason I did not get in, it could be something I do not even see coming. I guess it is time to just sit back and enjoy the show.
